The Emergence and Development of the Palestinian Women's Press

The Palestinian women's press is very young. Therefore, to this day, it is not treated seriously. The main focus (due to the small number of authors) has been on the general press, which has only covered political and national issues and rarely touched on social issues The topic of women's press studies is a new topic not only for the Palestinian press, but also for the Arab press in general, since there has been little serious research in this area. There are studies that examine the specialized press and, in doing so, partially examine the women's press as well. Only women's organizations have shown interest in the problems of the women's press and its existence. This means that Palestinian society, like other Arab societies, looks at the problem of women as an afterthought. And this is naturally reflected in the press.
