The Effect of Inspecti¿on Conducted by Educati¿on Inspectors

The aim of this book is to reveal the effect of inspections conducted in previous years by education inspectors on the performance of teachers. The study was carried out in the form of a case study, as one of the qualitative research methods. The semi-structured interview form enhanced by the researcher was used as a data collection tool in the study. The interview form developed as the data collection tool in the study was put into final form in accordance with expert opinion. The criterion and snowball sampling of the purposive sampling methods were used in the process of determining the participants. In this context, the interviews with the 15 idealistic teachers proposed by the headteachers of schools and considered as being pointed at their own fields have been done. Code names (such as K1, K2...) were used to hide the names of the participants. The recordings during the interview were encoded and transcripted by the researcher. Then the texts were delivered to the participants and the participants confirmed that these responses belong to them and they approved them. The texts were finalized depending on the responses received from the participants.
