This book examines the Effects of Dumpsite on Human Health in Mopamuro LGA, kogi State, Nigeria. The study was propelled in a view of the indiscriminate dumpsite and severe health problems facing the residents of the area. The major objectives of the study are to: find out the types of waste generated, collection and disposal, the health implications of the dumpsite and the residential view regarding the locations of the dumpsite. The study concludes that the present day waste generation, collection, disposal and dumpsite practices in Mopamuro LGA has caused severe environment and public health problems to the inhabitants of the area.
