The degradation of Masaka and Rakai District wetlands

There has been a wide scale environmental degradation within the communities of Kalisizo, Nakayiba and Lwera wetlands from Kalisizo, Nakayiba and Lwera wetlands from Masaka and Rakai Districts in Uganda respectively. Despite the numerous mass media sensitization to the public, of the phenomenon through seminars and workshops, there was no change. It was the photography pedagogy, a critical media literacy framework that made knowledge construction and with a creational representation of the world that made effect with a Practice Based Research that was used to create the new knowledge. This layed ground for an analysis of an advanced innovative photography pedagogy theory that mounted a practice based photographic exhibition model as a result of the research findings.
