The crisis of education

The issue of education is a major concern for all human societies, because it is at the heart of the problem of interpersonal relations. Today, with the crisis that the educational systems in Africa are experiencing, the need to rethink the school in order to adapt it to the demands of a globalized society increasingly marked by techno-scientific development is becoming more acute. Hannah Arendt, in her reflections on education, allows us to think about the crisis of education and its solutions. Can these solutions, which in the United States consisted of reforming the system, restoring authority and putting an end to pragmatism, not be used to overcome the crisis of education in Africa? We will show how the Arendtian ontology of education can help solve the crisis of education in Africa.
