The couple and love

The couple is an extremely complex phenomenon and in order to understand it, it must be studied and considered from many different perspectives: historical, anthropological, philosophical, economic, social, political, emotional and passionate. In this book, focusing on the Western couple of our time (20th century and 21st century), we are going to privilege one of these points of view, one of these vertices, the emotional, the passionate, in particular, the role of love in the couple's bond. What do we define as well-being and discomfort in couple's bonds? We will explore the different ways in which love is conceived in our time and in our geographical area, the West.
