This book is a corpus-based analysis of different Iranian age-groups' lexis in their daily conversations. The data which have been gathered through semi-structured interviews were put under investigation to check the lexical choice inclinations of different age-groups. The results revealed remarkable variations regarding lexical choice criteria of the participants. This inquiry is one of the first attempts to illuminate the possible differences of speech patterns among different generations of the Iranian society.
