The Choice of Financial Institutions by Micro Traders in Ghana

This book was written by young renowned researchers who sought to identify the financial choices of micro traders in the developing world and why certain factors influence the decisions of these traders. It particularly focused on Ghanaian market traders in the capital city of Accra and sought to identify various financial reasons that influence a trader's choice of one financial institution over the other. Among various savings practices and demographics that was revealed through the research, the authors also identified four main factors that influenced a traders' choice of financial institution in developing countries like Ghana. These factors were proximity of the financial institution, accessibility to loans, other products and services and Goodwill or trust of the institution.
