The Strategy for Attracting Foreign Direct Investments until 2035, which is currently being developed in the Republic of Belarus, should define long-term goals, objectives, principles, directions and expected results of attracting foreign investments, taking into account the priorities of socio-economic development of Belarus. Therefore, it defines as long-term goals the improvement of the investment climate, increase in the inflow of direct foreign investments into the country's economy, development of infrastructure, including the use of the mechanism of public-private partnership, increase in efficiency of investment activity. High-tech and knowledge-intensive industries, logistics, transport and digital infrastructure, the financial sector, the social sector - through public-private partnership projects - and the tourism industry are considered promising areas for attracting foreign direct investment in the Belarusian economy.
