The Berber cedar and the Atlas cypress

This study was carried out with the aim of developing the knowledge on the distribution of distribution of the Berber cedar and the Atlas cypress in the Tazekka national park.The objective of this comparative study between these two species of the same family Cupressaceae is to help students, researchers and naturalists in their research and will interest all those who would like to make the quick distinction between the Thuja and the Cypress in the field.In this document, the reader will find the general characteristics of each species, its distribution as well as its uses as food, industrial and medicinal plants.This study requires further scientific research in the laboratory for a better knowledge of these two forest species.
