The Beautiful Art of Parenting - My Journey

Dr. Prabha V. Choksey is a renowned Ophthalmologist practicing in Kenya in East Africa. She is the grand daughter of Diwan Assanand Tulsiram Gursahani a famous lawyer of Sind Province of undivided India and Nanki Gursahani from her paternal side and Dr. Hassasingh Bijjani and Putli Bijjani from her maternal side. Her parents Dr. C. A. Gursahani a Medical Doctor and Sarla Gursahani as with most of the Hindu Sindhis lost everything their beautiful homes, their childhood memories and their friends to the bloodshed of Partition of India in 1947. They built a little nest in Aurangabad a small town in Maharashtra, India and brought up their three children Mrs Sarita Mohan, Dr. Prabha Choksey and Dr. Hiroo Gursahani as Indian citizens of the Global World practicing the Religion of Humanity. They also made sure that when their children were climbing the ladder of success they did not leave behind Humility, Benevolence, Compassion and Spirituality which lie at the source of all achievements in life.
