The Apocalypse is a Personal Affair

The Rapture is the most personal thing imaginable. I say this because there¿s an idea out there that the Apocalypse will come on like a tempest everywhere and for everyone and that all sorts of disasters and cataclysms will inevitably occur. The Rapture is that singular, innermost moment when you are left alone with the Creator and the two of you share all the things that have been gnawing at you and which yoüve been trying to say for so long, but which for one reason or another you were not quite able to understand. It¿s intimate. At that moment, theories and hypotheses lose their meaning. As they say ¿ it¿s the Hour of Truth, in which you open your eyes and ears wide, so as not to miss something that has everything to do with you.
