Textbook on Recent Advances in Forensic Medicine is intended to assist Forensic Pathologist working in hospital setting so as to assist in criminal justice system. This book is divided into five sections namely Forensic Toxicology, Narcotics, Forensic Chemistry & Explosives, Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Psychology and Forensic Biology along with DNA Profiling keeping in view the examination pattern of MD degree in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. The contents added in will lead the Forensic Pathologists to understand the possibilities, limitations and processes of undergoing evidence analysis at Forensic Science Laboratory. It will enlighten the young Forensic Pathologists on how it can be done. It gives an insight into how the evidences gets exchanged, how they are located, collected, preserved and analyzed. It will also tell the readers on how to present the legit evidence in the court of law. The procedures presented in this book will be a guide for good practices that can be updated according to the prevailing situations.
