Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a disease that affects the ideal homeostasis of the organism, causing pain, deformities at different levels and of variable severity. In another research carried out by Dr. Alemán, it is exposed the high percentage of affection of the oral complex in patients who suffer it.an observational, descriptive, case series study was conducted in patients admitted to the Rheumatology service of the "Saturnino Lora" Clinical Surgical Teaching Provincial Hospital of Santiago de Cuba, with the objective of characterizing from the clinical epidemiological point of view the dysfunction of the temporomandibular joint in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
