Technology Enhanced Learning in the Middle East

This book examines issues pertaining to educational technology in both a face-to-face, in-person school setting and in a virtual online environment within the context of the Middle East. Literature published about this topic has traditionally been authored through the lens of Western-educated academics. However, this work is one of only a few books that give a voice to local school teachers in the K-12 sector, who have real-world, hands- on experience of integrating technology enhanced learning principles and approaches into their daily practice. The book begins by addressing fundamental concepts about digital education, then moves onto discussing innovative learning models, which are currently being implemented in Middle Eastern schools.
