Technical-Administrative Experience in Environmental Licensing

The internship was conducted in the period June 21 to September 20, 2013, in the company SST Engenharia e Serviços located in the neighborhood of Alto Branco in Campina Grande - PB, in the Department of Environment composed of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians. The general objective of this work is to make considerations about the activities developed during the supervised internship in the monitoring of the licensing process; defense of infraction notices with SUDEMA and IBAMA; environmental projects for licensing a company as a Prior License (LP), Installation License (LI) and Operation License (LO) and the monitoring of the necessary procedures with the environmental agencies, as well as the granting of an environmental license for gas stations. This training period allowed us to learn the required procedures established by the environmental laws in force in the country, to relate to several professionals with diverse academic backgrounds in the work environment, and to gain more professional confidence in dealing with environmental projects.
