Teaching English to Adults Through Drama

Drama essentially gives an opportunity for students to escape from the limitations of conventional classroom structures by using their own experiences and imagination in creating material on which part of the language lesson is based. Students can imitate, mimic and express themselves physically during these activities. Drama helps teachers to bridge the gap between course-book dialogues and actual usage in a natural way. Therefore, I tried mainly to explain teaching English to adults through drama in this book. It also gives information about types of language learners and teaching language methods. Finally, there is a practice section which exemplifies using drama to teach English.
