Its a traditional practice of dehulling the ripe fruit is by stick beating which is crude, unhygienic and time consuming operation. Dehulling, deseeding and removal of fibre, are manual and crude, since they are highly labour intensive operations and inefficient.In order to make the proper use of produced tamarind fruits at an optimum cost and less time consumption we need to have a tamarind dehuller-cum-deseeder machine.
