System of Actions to Control Arterial Hypertension

Chronic non-communicable diseases, led by arterial hypertension (AHT), are the main cause of mortality and premature disability worldwide. The present text is a material that constitutes a practical tool for health professionals, where it was found that the predominant risk factors were sedentary lifestyle, alcoholism and smoking. Knowledge about the disease and the practice of toxic habits are adequate, while the application of the diet is inadequate. It was recommended to continue the present line of research from a preventive approach and to disseminate the most correct ways to avoid or, once diagnosed, to face this disease that causes so much long-term damage in those who suffer from it.
