Synthesis of New Heterocyclic Monomers and Polymers Vitality

This book describes the synthesis and characterization of different Penta, hexa and fused hepta member heterocyclic rings from chalcones in its two types, one-sided functional group and two-sided functional group, which are used as a monomers and two types polymerization addition and free radical from cinnamoyl, acryloyl, adipoyl and glotaroyl chloride to preparing many different polymers. The new prepared derivatives (monomers and polymers) were characterized through the CHN, FT.IR, 1HNMR, UV/Vis spectroscopy; measurement the melting points, viscosity, X-Ray, thermal analysis (DSC for some of them) and checked by T.L.C. Also, the biological activity for some of the prepared compounds was evaluated to recognize if these compounds will have medical application.
