Synthesis, Characterization Techniques & Applications of Ferrites

Ferrites have been emerging focus of recent scientific research both from the synthesis and applications point of view. The Samples of Co0.5Nio.5CrxFe2.xO4 (x = 0.0 to 1.0 in the steps of 0.25) Spinel ferrite systems were prepared by using Sol gel auto combustion method technique. The Structural, Electrical and Magnetic properties of above systems were investigated by X-ray diffraction, VSM, D. C. resistivity and A.C. Conductivity. Ferrite has unique applications in high density Magnetic recording, Magnetic Sensors, Shielding, Color imaging, Microwave devices, Bioprocessing, Magnetic refrigeration, Magneto optical devices, Pollution Control & in Entertainment devices etc.
