Synthesis, Characterization and Biological activity Study of New Nucle

This work includes the preparation of a new nucleoside important in the treatment of all kinds of cancers such as cancers of the lungs and blood as well as they are important in the treatment of many bacteria, fungi and various viruses by inhibiting genetic reproduction of DNA and also to stop the reflection reproduction of proteins by the RNA, which has been prepared chemically Nucleoside analogues have been used in many biological applications. Work is in two parts: first contain use of two kind of sugar to synthesis of compounds which are a key to synthesis intermediate of nucleoside analogues, while the second part contain synthesis other new nucleoside analogues. In this work all nucleoside analogues have been synthesized for the first time. All prepared compounds were characterized via FT-IR spectroscopy and some of them were characterized via 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. The biological activity of nucleoside analogues were studied in vitro by disc diffusion method with two kinds of gram(-Ve), two gram(+Ve) bacteria and against four types of fungi candida yeast. Some of tested compounds showed moderate activity while the other were weak or inactive against bacteria.
