Synthesis & Biological Evaluation Of Phthalazinone & Pyridazinone

The Pthalazinone and Pyridazinone synthesized by refluxing the mixture of appropriate acid and hydrazine in absolute alcohol and new pyridazinones were also prepared. The intermediate 1,4 ketoacids (¿-aroylpropionic acids) required for the synthesis of Pthalazinone and Pyridazinone (PH-1 to PH-12) were prepared by substituted aromatic compounds with appropriate acid anhydride and All the synthesized compounds were purified by chromatographic and crystallization methods and then identified by physical and their spectral characterization by means of IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR and Resulted compounds, were having biological and pharmacological importance like antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory activity and in-vitro anti-cancer activity.
