Surface-Active Substance

The aim of the work is to develop a formulation of shampoo and technological scheme of its production. An analytical review of the literature and a patent search on the technology and composition of shampoo. Selected the direction of research and methods of analysis. We have studied the properties of aqueous solutions of mixed surfactants: non-ionic surfactant (diethanolamides of fatty acids of coconut oil) and anionic surfactant (sodium laureth sulfate) at a 1:3, 1:4 and 1:5 ratio. It has been found that the best properties are characteristic for solutions containing a mixture of non-ionic surfactant and anionic surfactant at a ratio of 1:3. A thickening agent (hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride guar) has been selected and its effect on the properties of aqueous surfactant mixture has been studied. A shampoo formulation has been developed, a sample has been obtained and its physico-chemical properties have been analysed. The analysis has shown its correspondence to the requirements of STB 1675-2006 "Cosmetic hygienic detergents. General technical conditions".
