Superovulatory response in Sahiwal x Jersey crossbred cows

The estrus response after synchronization of Sahiwal x Jersey crossbred cows was 100%. The total follicles, total mean number, total mean number of anovulations of ovulations per animal developed were significantly (P<0.05) higher in cows superovulated with 250 mg FSHp than in cows superovulated with 200 mg FSHp. Ten embryos collected from Sahiwal x Jersey crossbred donor cows were cryopreserved by OPS vitrification method and stored for future in-vitro studies. The concentrations of progesterone at the time of embryo collection were significantly (P<0.05) different between Group I and II. But the difference in the progesterone concentrations at remaining period of study were not significant (P>0.05) between the groups.
