The onset of the pandemic has placed a greater emphasis on mental health, with many organizations making it a business imperative to make sure that employees are fully supported. Research on mental health in the workplace continues to grow, though there is a dearth of scholarly writings taking a micro approach to understanding the impact of negative work environments. This three-book series explores issues related to personality disorders and work-related suicides and their   effect on employees and leaders.

This volume explores occupational suicide, its characteristics, and the circumstances associated with workplace suicide in various occupations. The book is divided into three sections: defining work-related suicide, exploring its relationship to specific high-stress jobs (such as law enforcement), and the role of leadership and human resources professionals in suicide prevention and postvention.
