Sturctural Analysis of Bhutia Society

This book is an insight into the Bhutia society of Sikkim, a North Eastern State in India, and the women¿s position in this social fabric. This dissertation deals with different aspects like social, economic and political, which were studied to analyze Bhutia women¿s status in the decision making process in the society. These women occupy a good social status when it comes to their economic and social position but there are lacunae in their religious position. This dissertation can be used by policy makers, planners, women activist and family resource management experts. These findings can also help take corrective measures in the Bhutia society and higher academic institutions can utilize these findings while dealing with gender Issues or Development of the Women Folk in the Sikkim chapter.
