Study on Mg-Zn MIxed Ferrite

Nano scale magnetic materials have attracted researchers in recent years due to its significance role in magnetic storage technology and understanding spin dependent transport phenomena. Major application involves in the conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy or application of a force on soft ferro objects. The use of AFe2O4 (A2+=Mn, Zn, Fe, Co, Ni, Al etc.,) for future magnetic microwave devices. This book speaks about the preparation of MgZnNi ferrite which strongly depends on their chemical composition, microstructure and heat treatment which are sensitive to the preparation methods used in the synthesisThe influence of Zn, Mg and Al were studied in detail. The magnetic properties such as coercive force, saturation magetisation variation with different compositions of materials reported. Replacement of Al3+ on Fe3+ occupy octahedral site thus reduces A-B interaction intern reduces particle size and saturation magnetization.
