Study on Genetic Diversity in Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum L.)

This book is an about research work on fenugreek (Trigonellafoenum-graecumL.). It summarizes the research entitled ¿Correlation coefficient and path analysis for yield and its component traits in Fenugreek (Trigonellafoenum-graecum L.)¿Fenugreek has remained almost neglected for its genetic improvement to increase yield potential for commercial exploitation.Based upon thisresearch work it could be suggested that in plant breeding programmes of fenugreek, major emphasis should be given on pods per plant followed by seeds per pod, length of pods, 1000-seed weight, days to maturity and plant height.The methodology might also be used in field studies. I hope this study will be followed up by many others. It hope this study would be useful for many students and researcher who involved in research work in Fenugreek.
