STUDY OF THE FOREST DYNAMICS OF THE ANGOLAN MIOMBO

In this manual, the authors, both forest engineers, evaluated the spatial distribution of the Angolan Miombo and its types, using remote sensing technologies. The book has six (6) chapters (Introduction; Miombo in Africa and Angola; Studies of vegetation based on remote sensing techniques; Model, data and methodology; Miombo data resulting from geospatial analysis; and Final Considerations) which, as the authors describe, respond to the logical order as the complexity of the subject increases. The content of each chapter is accompanied by illustrations and tables, which make reading and understanding this manual a simple and pleasant exercise. This work explains and reinforces the importance of using geotechnological tools in the study of natural resources.
