Study of Techniques of Winding Good Quality Yarn Package

Our work covers the technical and quality aspects of a spinning mill''s product; that is a final wound package. We studied various yarn faults that are to be cleared at the stage of package formation and the package abnormalities encountered during and after the winding process. The causes of these faults are examined and their remedies are discussed in order to get a better quality wound package. On the other hand a range of new technological developments in this regard were also covered. The spinner has to take into account the quality and specifications of the product that are required by the weaver, knitter, dyer or any other customer, and for making a good name of his company, his product has to be fault free and as per customer''s demand.
