The objective of this manuscript is to identify the technology for the conversion of energy from wind, to design the infrastructure for the conversion of mechanical energy from wind into electrical energy for an optimal energy production. To do this, we will present a conversion system with its constitution and the principle of operation of all elements. A mathematical formulation of the system will be presented. To analyze the behavior of the wind turbine, simulations will be performed on Matlab with aerodynamic data from a real site. The results of the simulations will also be analyzed to draw conclusions. Finally a proposal for reactive energy compensation will be presented.
