This book describes proximate analysis, antibacterial activity and GC-MS evaluation of chemical constituents on various extract of mucuna pruriens linn. Seeds and also phytochemistry and pharmacological activity were also described.Proximate analysis was done using standard method. The antibacterial activity of different extract of each of 50 mg/ml concentrations was determined by disc diffusion method with various gram positive and gram negative bacteria.GC-MS analysis was carried out to analyze the bioactive constituents in seeds of Mucuna pruriens Linn.
