Student perception and expectation from teachers

In the annals of history the teacher has always been the center of influence for the people in quest of knowledge and reformation. He is continuously playing role of communicator of the past knowledge, achievement and traditions to the next generation thus preparing them to take the reins of progress, welfare and development of the society in future. Unfortunately the present day teacher is unable to influence weak students, who enter into the educational system reluctantly with a hope as little as the light at the end of a tunnel. If teachers lack teaching skills, that ultimately creates an adverse impact on the students attitude towards learning and their teachers. Good teachers need to know and practice various skills which could help the students to understand the world around them.
