The product - system project is the specific object of the master's degree in strategic design of the MIP Politécnico di Milano (which is part of the School of Management of Polytechnic), but also the object of the consultancy, applied research and specific projects of the University of Milan. In the Master's degree, strategic design is the activity of the co-opted project in the formulation and development of the strategy of an organization. Its objective is to give shape to the strategy, which is mainly understood as a system - product, the organic and coherent whole of the various means of communication (product, service, communication) with which a company builds its identity, is positioned in the market, and defines its mission in society. Strategic design has a set of functional capabilities to the strategy: it is oriented to more "vertical" competencies (product designer to interior designer), you can manage teamwork, speak the languages of the technicians, as well as those of the managers, is oriented to solve problems quickly and methodically, and can handle complex situations.
