The falling standard and quality of education has been a major concern of all stakeholders in educational system in recent time. The mass failure of students in public examination and reduction in quality of students in tertiary institutions has been traced to poor quality of teachers. it is on this premise that this book is written to enhance effective teaching and learning in teaching training programme. The book contained Seven chapters that covered all curriculum for teacher preparation. It covered aspect of teaching methods, class control and management, use of instructional materials for effective teaching delivery, strategies and tactics for supervising student teachers among others. the book is expected to be useful to all stakeholder in school system; most especially, students, teachers, education planners and policy makers. The analysis should help shed light on teaching supervision and assessment and should be especially useful to all and sundry in the teaching profession.
