Sri Aurobindo's Concept of Consciousness

The philosophy of Sri Aurobindo emerges from his direct experience of reality lying beyond the mind which descends from above into his being through the sädhanä of the Integral Yoga. His philosophy which is integral affirms the reality of the world as well as the Absolute. His integral advaitism does make a true reconciliation of Matter and Spirit. In fact it is an evolutionary journey of consciousness in its dynamic and creative form from Matter to Spirit, from Inconscient to the Superconscient, from ignorance to the Knowledge and Bliss. The present work deals with Sri Aurobindo¿s concept of consciousness which is not only static but also dynamic, creative and evolutionary in its nature.
