Spectroscopic Analysis of Reactive Dyeing

Two major types of spectrophotometers are used in textile field. Firstly, reflection spectrophotometer and second one is absorption spectrophotometer. The first one has the superior uses in dye houses specially for the purpose of color matching. On the other hand second one has a vast use for the effluent water taste. But both the spectrophotometers have the ability to give significant data which can be very effective in analysis of dye properties, dye behavior on material surface and also dye performances. This book specially highlighted on the possible analysis and discussions can be gained by these two instruments. There are also some exemplification included here which can be very helpful to understand how the practical works can be done. Here only reactive dyeing on cotton has been considered as for an example but these methods are possible to apply for any types of dyeing.
