Special education and physical education

This book was based on articles from his professional practice as a Psychomotrician, Physical Educator and Therapist for the Municipal Department for People with Disabilities in Rio de Janeiro, in the community of Morro dos Macacos in Vila Isabel in RJ - Brazil, in the area of Special Education in individual and group care for children, adolescents and adults with physical, intellectual, hearing, visual and multiple disabilities, as well as subjects with Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. It also includes articles by other professionals with their views on education. The articles in this book have been published as references for online work in the academic indexed journals: Lecturas Educación Físicas y Deportes in Argentina - Buenos Aires and in the Revista Educação Pública - CEDERJ in the areas of Physical Education; Citizenship and Education. With this book, we intend to show that Physical Education and Psychomotricity are extremely important for the stimulation, interaction and social inclusion of people with disabilities. And that the availability of professionals is extremely important if we are to obtain expressive and concrete results.
