Water conservation is the technology that can be developed in semi-arid region because other technologies cannot be effective unless there is water available for growing crop. Soil and water conservation techniques recommended for agricultural land includes mechanical measures like furrow opening, agronomical practices, vegetative barrier, runoff harvesting and recycling. soybean was subjected to various land layouts by opening of furrow at different intervals of rows. The beneficial effect of land layouts will certainly accelerate the process of growth and development of soybean which ultimately results in better yield. Therefore an attempt was made to study the degree of different beneficial effect of nutrient levels and insitu moisture conservation practices in soybean
