South Asian Migration

In migration studies, the relationship between migration and development in the global South has been controversially discussed. However, a unanimous resolution to this debate has not been found, due to the ever-changing nature of international migration. This book progress Knowledge on the global debate on the migration-development relationship by documenting experiences in a number of countries in South Asia. This book also seeks to review the impact that migration has on both social and economic development in South Asia.
