Sources of Information and Farmer's Decision Making

More than half of the Indian population dependent on agriculture for sustenance. Largely agriculture sector comprise of farmers. Farmers need information regarding recent technological advancements and policy packages to meet out their agricultural activities. The need of agriculture extension is vitalized in this scenario to cope up these issues. Several governments, private and public-private initiated programs have come into existence to facilitate farmers making availability of relevant information to farmers. These sources of information are transferring information in an efficient ways. The present study entitled ¿Sources of Information and Farmers Decision Making¿ has taken a look on the relevance, objectivity and effectiveness of different sources of information. Broadly based on the theoretical/conceptual and analytic consideration it was tried to throw a light on these issues.
