Sociology of Management

Sociology belongs to the field of human sciences. Management is heir to the management sciences. One seeks to understand the life of men in society, the other participates in its implementation in work organizations. Despite this common denominator, it is rare that the two terms work well together. The two terms have been undermined in advance by the ideologically charged atmosphere of the times, and they tend to be at odds with each other. Sociology inextricably links the individual and the individuals to the society which exceeds them and to the subsets which it contains (the company is one of them). These different elements interact, the effects they produce on each other are circular. This twenty-first (21st) book explains how sociology seeks to understand the nature of the relationship between man(s) and society, and how management aims to regulate it.
