LAM is a natural and effective contraceptive method. Despite the fact that the scientific basis for LAM was proven in BELLEGIO, Italy, in 1988, it is still unknown among both the women who give birth and the health care workers. In Côte d'Ivoire, the knowledge of LAM among the women who give birth is a serious phenomenon. In the city of Daloa, women who have given birth do not really know about LAM and do not know how to perform this practice. This study will therefore allow us to better sensitize women who have given birth and also if this project can be financed by a structure to better train and educate these vulnerable people.
