Smart Transportation Systems using AI and IoT

In this modern era, there are very limited domains that disconnect themselves from the word ¿technology¿. Currently, 54% of the worldwide population resides in urban cities, and this is expected to rise to 70% by 2050.The gravity of technology is such that almost every smart solution is interlinked to it. One such concept that can further make best use of technology is smart cities, where the IoT and IoT-based devices can provide us with the relevant data, on which analysis can be performed. Next, the network communication must be efficient enough to set up these IoT devices and when there are talks about making these solutions smarter, Artificial Intelligence will come into the picture. Further, with an increase of data in the public domain, there still remains a benefit of doubt amongst the citizens about the concept of security. To overcome this, Cyber Security as a concept needs to be accommodated in smarter systems. Now, if there exists well-balanced architecture interlinking the above domains, the limited resources can indeed be used for a larger population and longer period of time. All of these important aspects with additional knowledge have been discussed in the book.
