Labour intensification is a characteristic feature of modernity and has led to the excessive consumption of workers' physical and spiritual energies, revealing the incidence of work-related illnesses within the scope of the family health strategy. Historically, the conception of physiotherapy as a health area was exclusively rehabilitative, but it is known that with the implementation of primary care on the health agenda, there is a need to redefine its field of action from the perspective of Health Promoter. This book portrays the consolidation of primary health care, reframes physiotherapy with a focus on health promotion and promotes the category of work as a determining factor in the community's health and illness process, highlighting soft health technologies and their relationship with care. The book is aimed at physiotherapy professionals and academics, pointing out reflections on their practice in the community, at the interface of workers' health.
