SIMULATION STUDY OF A PRODUCTION SYSTEM

This research concerns with applying simulation and modeling technique to help the managers of Atbara Flour Mill Industries Company Limited to understand the behaviour of the system, so that they can quickly get several solutions for any problem that may occur in the system, so a good utilization of the system will be achieved. Also, the technique can help them to make appropriate decisions, which associate with production and operations management within the company in short and long terms in order to face the competition in the market and fluctuating of the demand. The aim of the present textbook was to review the importance of studying simulation of a production system from different points of view which include introduction, literature review, flour production processes, simulation program, results and results discussion, and conclusions and recommendations.
