Sexuality in public spaces

Sexuality appears as a hackneyed subject, which is both private and public; forbidden, delimited and regulated, assimilated to genital practice. In this context, sex education is mainly associated with youth as an object of intervention. The changes that occur in individuals at puberty and their consequent sexual-erotic awakening, lead to focus the actions of parents, educators and the State on the sexuality of young people. However, sexuality is much more than that, it involves both young and old, old people and children, women and men alike. It is precisely the adult population that absorbs the changes taking place in society with few tools to deal with them, especially since sexuality has been a taboo subject for centuries, with the social refusal to deal with the issues anywhere. This book is intended to serve as a kick-start towards putting adult sexuality education on the agenda. Secondly, it is intended as a technique for bridging this gap, leaving free its use and the results that can be proposed in contexts and particularities other than those proposed in this work.
