Sexual disorders in chronic hemodialysis patients

Chronic renal failure (CRF), and in particular hemodialysis, has a major impact on several areas of patients' lives. Sexuality is one of the areas most affected. Despite the high frequency of DS sexual dysfunctions, this problem is still a taboo subject, rarely discussed between the two partners, and rarely broached with the attending physician. In this context, we conducted a descriptive and analytical study including 100 hemodialysis patients in four dialysis centers in the governorate of Monastir, with the following objectives:¿ Screen for sexual dysfunction in patients with chronic renal failure at the hemodialysis stage.¿ Establish correlations between the clinico-biological aspect of CKD and SD and identify its main risk factors.
