Self-Ligating Brackets

The technique used in todays orthodontics involves metal or elastomeric ligature to attach an archwire to a bracket. Ligating the archwire to the bracket slot in this way can be quite time consuming and that is why self-ligating brackets were developed. These brackets hold the archwire in the bracket slot and replaces the steel/elastomeric ligature.So this book attempts to discuss the insight depth regarding the usefulness of SLB.
